Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Vo Consulting Inc. (operating as VCG and Vo Consulting Group) is a Canadian NetSuite consulting firm. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information through our website at www.voconsulting.ca and in the course of our consulting engagements. We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you reach out through our contact, careers, or demo request forms, we collect the information you voluntarily submit, which may include your name, email address, company name, job title or role, a message, and — for careers enquiries — a link to your CV or portfolio.

Information collected automatically. We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects aggregate, privacy-preserving data such as pages visited, referral source, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location (country/city level). We do not use invasive advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies, and we do not build individual user profiles for advertising purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and follow up on demo requests.
  • Evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates.
  • Deliver, administer, and improve our consulting services and client relationships.
  • Understand how our site is used so we can improve its content and performance.
  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations where applicable.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Legal Basis and Consent

Under PIPEDA, we collect, use, and disclose personal information only with your knowledge and consent, except where the law permits or requires otherwise. By submitting a form on our site or engaging our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us at hello@voconsulting.ca. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide certain services or respond to enquiries.

4. Sharing and Service Providers

We may share personal information with trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations. These include:

  • Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
  • Web3Forms — secure delivery of form submissions to our team.

We do not authorize these providers to use your information for their own purposes beyond the services they provide to us. We do not sell or rent your personal information to any party.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Enquiry and form data is retained only for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We implement reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss. The level of protection is appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved. While no transmission over the internet is completely secure, we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data.

7. Your Rights

Subject to certain legal limitations, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Withdraw consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information.
  • Ask about our privacy practices and the handling of your information.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@voconsulting.ca. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time frame, typically within 30 days.

8. International Transfers

Our service providers may store or process personal information outside Canada, including in the United States. When personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection. By using our website or services, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside Canada.

9. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13, or under the applicable age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or services. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
