- OUR STORY -
A controller shouldn't have to fix her own implementation.
Our founder spent five years doing analytics at SAP, moved into accounting, then landed at a NetSuite consulting firm. The work was good. The pattern wasn't. Every engagement ended the same way: build the SOW, hand over the keys, disappear. If the controller couldn't actually close the books on day five, that was her problem now.
VCG started as a bet that you could do this differently. Implement systems that work for the people who rely on them. Stay through the first close. Stay through the fifth. If something you recommended breaks, pick up the phone. The team grew with controllers who'd gotten tired of explaining their own close process to consultants, and data engineers who cared about what finance needed on the other end of a report.
The firm got sharper, not bigger. Multi-subsidiary consolidation. ARM revenue recognition. M&A integrations. Managed services. Work that requires knowing the accounting as well as the platform, and being around long enough to answer for it.
